Nishi Shuzo is a highly regarded, historic distillery located in the hills of Fukiage, Kagoshima Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu, Japan. Established in 1845, the distillery has over 175 years of experience in producing honkaku (authentic) shochu, particularly from sweet potatoes. TENBU is a brand of Japanese sake launched by the distillery to showcase their expertise beyond shochu. The brewery is considered a benchmark for quality in Japan and has gained international recognition for its refined, aromatic, and elegant products. The brewery is currently led by eighth-generation President and CEO, Yoichiro Nishi.
