The first vintage produced in the new vat room, 2015 marked a change in the estate's winemaking processes as it gave us the opportunity to work with more precision and carry out single-plot vinifications for the first time. This is how we rediscovered the individual potential of certain plots vinified together until then. The Syrah from Vignes René, the last vines planted by René Joyeux (Hubert's grandfather) is one of them. Combined with a touch of Mourvèdre, it was favored to produce a modern and contemporary Corbières with supple and silky tannins.
2021 Vintage is a bright ruby color. The nose is rich, delicious, and fruity, mixing aromas of strawberry and raspberry with subtle notes of blackcurrant and small black berries. The palate is ample, generous, crunchy with present and well-blended tannins.
