Deep purple red with violet highlights. The nose leads with violet and dark berries, touched by black pepper spice, then moves into wild Mediterranean brush like myrtle and rosemary, with a light, well judged oak presence underneath. It's medium bodied and generous on the palate, with smooth, rounded tannins and a fresh, easy drinking character that still holds a long finish.
