We are excited to introduce the 2023 Sperino Rosa del Rosa, a unique rosé that embodies the elegance and complexity of Alto Piemonte managed by Luca and his father Paolo De Marchi of Isole e Olena in Chianti Classico. This exquisite blend of Nebbiolo with small amounts of Vespolina and Croatina offers refreshing acidity and fresh fruit flavors, making it an excellent companion to a wide range of foods, from pizza to grilled fish and roasted vegetables.
Revealing depths of ripe peach and strawberry with hints of cumin, ginger, dried orange, and roses, this rosé floods the palate with silky textures and ripe fruit, leading to a long, balanced finish with a touch of savory spice. Fine tannins add to its elegance without being austere. While gorgeous now, it may improve with a little time in the cellar.
