Single vineyard. Old vines of very low yielding Pinot Meunier, planted in 1979, on a North facing, gentle slope with clay soil that has leeched out most of its limestone. Over time some vines die and many of those that did were replaced somewhat by accident with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir rather than the original Meunier. Today this vineyard yields a beautiful medley of the three varietals. Fermented and aged in barrels, full malolactic fermentation, non-fined and non-filtered.
