Gianfranco Garofoli named this wine after his favorite mountain pass in the Monti Sibillini National Park – a place of rugged beauty in southern Marche. The wine is a classic Rosso Piceno blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, capturing the bright, food-friendly character that has made this the region's most important red wine.
