Title

This is a new Barolo drawn from a selection of Marcenasco fruit, released under the commune designation rather than the single vineyard, with 2022 as the inaugural vintage. The intent is a Barolo that is more approachable and more elegant in its youth, suited to drinking earlier without giving up what makes Barolo worth waiting for.

The vineyards sit in the village of La Morra on Tortonian bluish marl, southeast and southwest exposure, vines averaging thirty years. Fifteen days of fermentation, malolactic in steel, then around two years in Slavonian oak casks before bottling in June of last year. Garnet red in the glass with violet and rose petal on the nose, tannins soft and gently drawn.
