Roberto Voerzio based in La Morra, Roberto started in the 1980s with five hectares. The quantities produced are tiny and come from a number of top vineyards including La Serra, Rocche dell'Annunziata, Cerequio, Fossati Case Nere and Sarmasa. Sixty percent of these vineyards are planted to high density. Once the grapes reach the winery, there is a marked shift to more traditional approaches, eschewing roto-fermentors or manipulation of fruit. Ageing is done in a combination of small and increasingly large botti.
