Sourced from three of the best vineyards in the Ribera del Duero region, this wine is a true example of contemporary Ribera area wines, made without compromise. Cropped from a drier vintage for the year 2019 the grapes as a result were powerful and concentrated, as a result maceration was reduced by 11 days and concrete was introduced to reduce time in oak. 

As a result the 2019 vintage is described as a powerful, concentrated, juicy vintage. Pure and aromatic this wine is full bodied with plenty of chocolate, vanilla, coffee-bean and juicy berry undertones. Round long tannis lead to a complexity of smoked wood and tar undertones. 

Ripe, tarry plums and black cherries with violets, rocks, coffee and graphite. Refined notes of balsamic fruit and cocoa powder, too. Full-bodied and juicy with an iron fist of tannins, yet at the same time so velvety and polished. Very long, focused finish, showing lots of finesse and layers.
