Lucien Le Moine
Lucien Le Moine is a small House of Grand Crus in Beaune, founded in 1999 by Mounir and Rotem Samoua. Mounir, who studied viticulture and oenology after working at a Trappist Monastery, is dedicated to pure, traditional winemaking. Rotem, with a background in agriculture and cheese-making, won a national prize for her study on the Côte d’Or before joining Mounir. The duo focuses on producing only Grands and Premier Crus from Côte d’Or, cultivating close relationships with local growers to ensure high quality. Their small-scale operation allows them to adapt each year based on vintage conditions.
