100% Carricante from east-facing terraced vineyards at 800m elevation in Contrada Rinazzo (eastern slope of Etna, Milo). This highly regarded area benefits from abundant sunlight, constant ventilation, and maritime influence. The vineyard features young vines grown in traditional alberello style, planted in mineral-rich volcanic sandy soil at a density of 8,000 vines per hectare.

Hand-harvested after mid-October, gently pressed and fermented at 18°C for 12 days in stainless steel using Benanti's specifically selected indigenous Etna yeast. Aged 12 months on fine lees with frequent stirring, followed by 6 months in bottle before release.
