Gerard Tremblay
Fifth generation vigneron Gérard Tremblay and his son Vincent run this 100 acre estate in Chablis, of which 30 acres are planted in both Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. They use an incredible amount of care in preserving the terroir and are committed to sustainable viticulture. In 1990, they built a new winery and underground barrel cellar. They do not like dominant oak flavour, but recognize that it is important in bringing out secondary aromas of the terroir. Their winery is designed to use gravity throughout the winemaking process.
