Dal Forno Romano
The Dal Forno family has been crafting exceptional wines in Italy’s Val d’Illasi since 1983, establishing a reputation for uncompromising quality and a distinctive approach to the wines of Valpolicella. Located in the eastern hills of the Veneto, the estate encompasses approximately 65 acres of vineyards planted with traditional varieties including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. Situated at around 300 metres above sea level, where the landscape begins to rise toward the mountains, the vineyards benefit from well-draining alluvial soils and meticulous vineyard management designed to produce fruit of extraordinary concentration and quality. Dal Forno Romano combines a deep respect for traditional viticulture and winemaking with modern technology and precision, creating wines that marry classic regional character with remarkable purity and intensity. Best known for its powerful, structured Valpolicella and Amarone, the estate also produces distinctive bottlings such as Vigne Seré, an exceptional passito wine that showcases the complexity and richness of dried grapes. Every wine reflects the family’s singular pursuit of excellence and their commitment to expressing the full potential of this remarkable region.
