Cheval des Andes is the partnership between Château Cheval Blanc, one of the great names of Saint-Émilion, and Terrazas de los Andes, bringing together two houses within the LVMH family. Founded in 1999, it was conceived as a Bordeaux Grand Cru made in the Andes. Bordeaux’s art of blending and long aging is applied to old vine Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grown at high altitude in Mendoza. The Cheval Blanc team oversees the wine with the same precision it brings to its Saint-Émilion estate, and the result is one of Argentina’s most sought-after and ageworthy wines, with deep fruit, refined tannins and remarkable elegance.
