Château de Chamirey

Under the umbrella of Domaine Devillard, Chateau des Chamirey was built in the 18th century and to this day is still used as the Devillard family house. Overlooking the whole Cote Chalonnaise, it was the start of their long Burgundian history when in 1934 Marquis de Jouennes, grand-father to Amaury, produced his first bottle - and the first ever estate bottling from Mercurey. Step by step, the family has become a major player in Burgundian wine history. The family works together to take care of their 3 estates which include Domaine des Perdrix, a 15 hectares estate with incredible holdings in Nuit-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanee, and Domaine Ferte in Givry. Six of the fifteen hectares here are classified as Premier or Grand Cru wines.
