Cardinale was born in 1982 with a vision to produce a singular Cabernet Sauvignon from the highest quality vineyards in Napa Valley. Initially they would source wines from the entire appellation and sub-appellations, though the natural evolution has been that the blend is created from grapes primarily grown in the mountains, particularly from Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain. Today, Cardinale has far surpassed all expectations. With a limited production, their powerful and seamless Cabernet Sauvignon has quickly become iconic.
