This cult like label was created in 2011 by winemaker Matt Iaconis, and features Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from high elevation Napa Valley, Sonoma Coast and Mendocino Ridge vineyards.The wines are old-world in style, balanced and bright, with very distinctive site characteristics. Matt, a native Californian, is a graduate of University of California at Davis where he played football and studied Atmospheric Science, hoping to become an astronaut. An introductory course on winemaking changed everything for him. After college, he worked at wineries both in Napa Valley and abroad and eventually began working with the Antinori family at Antica. It was through this experience that he forged strong relationships in the industry and began to source fruit for his own project.
