Viña Maquis
Viña Maquis is one of the oldest wineries in the Colchagua Valley region of Chile and it has been owned by the Hurtado family for four generations. All of Maquis' wines use 100% single vineyard grapes that are grown solely on the estate by winemaker Eric Boisseno who then decides on the blends within two or three months after harvest. The wines are then aged in 225 Litre and 400 Litre French oak barrels for 12 to 36 months depending on the wine and vintage. The winery strives to make balanced wines that always pursue natural freshness and moderate alcohol levels.
