Domaine Michel Mallard

The family estate was founded in 1952 by Michel Mallard, grandfather of the current nameholder and winemaker. The estate has 13ha around Corton hill, producing 16 appellations in total. It is located in the center of Ladoix-Serrigny, just south of where the Côte de Nuits meets the Côte de Beaune. Michel took over from his father Patrick in 2005 and is now running the family estate with the involvement of the whole family. By day, Michel is the lead winemaker at Domaine d’Eugenie, in Vosne Romanee. Domaine Mallard has plots in Corton Les Maréchaudes, Corton Le Rognet, Corton Renardes and its smallest: Corton-Charlemagne. All four are made and bottled separately and are of exceptional quality.
