Ratti’s ‘Marcenasco’ Barolo is the flagship wine of the estate, a classic expression of the La Morra commune. Pale Garnet in the glass, this is a complex and aromatic Barolo – fragrant rose perfume, red fruits, earth, spice, and a savory characteristic. The palate is full and dry with grippy tannins and fresh acidity. Each layer peels back to reveal notes of strawberry, vanilla, oak, leather, tobacco, and dried cherry. A long finish. While approachable now, as with any good Barolo it has the capacity to age well. 

This stunning, delicious red boasts enticing scents of camphor, rose petal, small red berry and spice while the delicious palate stuns with strawberry compote, baking spice and star anise. Smooth, silky tannins and fresh acidity keep it perfectly balanced. Drink 2024-2030.
