Capo Martino

Italy, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Capo Martino is the name of the hill purchased by Silvio Jermann in 1991 in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, and already used as an observation point during the war. The homonymous vineyard covers 7.5 hectares and was renovated from 1996 to 2003, albeit maintaining the traditional local varieties.

(Translated from the Italian) A blend of only native variety vines (Malvasia Istriana, Picolit, Ribolla Gialla and Tocai Friulano), and thus true expression of its land, this wine presents itself with a floral bouquet of rare elegance, which also recalls a fruit salad in splendid harmony, fresh and exotic. Chapeau. Score - 3 Glasses (out of 3). (Gambero Rosso Magazine, 2021)
