Meyer lemon rind and crushed shells with notes of jasmine, lemon thyme and sandlewood on the nose. The palate has an electric acidity, coupled with savoury spice and a chalky minerality. Brilliantly textured with great structure, this wine fully expresses the granitic soils of the high mountainous ridge tops at Cougar Rock Vineyard. While beautiful in its youth, this Chardonnay will age gracefully and improve over the next 10+ years.
