Castello della Paneretta Chianti Classico Riserva is a red Tuscan wine made using 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo grapes. The grapes are handpicked, fermentation on the skins at a controlled temperature of 25-27c in stainless steel for 10-12 days. The Chianti Classico riserva is then aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
This is a full bodied sangiovese boasting dark fruits, classic tannins and minerals that will keep for years to come. On the palate ripe black cherry, cassis and plum flavours with a savory earthiness. Neutral oak gives way to a slight spiciness. Castello delle Paneretta Chianti Classico Riserva is great paired with poultry and game.
