Sentiers is a unique terroir at the north of Chambolle near some great vineyards like Les Baudes and the grand cru Bonnes Mares, while also butting right up to the border of Morey st. Denis. More often than not, these vineyards that lie in the transition areas from one village to the next, in this case, the Chambolle-Musigny and Morey St. Denis, are fascinating. It is always interesting to see where the wine draws from, and here it shows the elegance and finesse of Chambolle with the power and weight of Morey St. Denis. A very structured wine from a classic vintage, this could be enjoyed now and spend another decade in the cellar.
