A blend of Pinot Noir from Côte Chalonnaise, coming from villages of Moroges and Mercurey with average vine age of 20 to 40 years. They harvest and select the grapes manually, and fermentation is carried out completely destemmed, with a short period of maceration that employs natural yeast only. It is aged for 12 months in traditional pièces bourguignonnes as well as 1/3 in new oak. There is great balance between red fruit flavours and vegetal notes of blackberry bush and laurel. Benefitting from the exceptional conditions of the 2020 vintage, this Bourgogne Rouge can be enjoyed today but will evolve favourably for nearly 10 years.
