The Aglianico used here is sourced from the Bocca di Lupo estate, which is located 250 meters above sea level in the heart of Murgia which is about 90km from the coast. It has an intense nose of ripe red fruit such as black cherries and sweet spice like cloves and star anise. The tannins are present but energized, ultimately indicating that this wine shows tremendous ageing potential.
