The Rosso Piceno is a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano. The Sangiovese brings notes of bright red cherry, while the Montepulciano has a dark plum character. The wine is very smooth and easy to enjoy, both by itself or paired with a number of roasted meat or tomato based dishes.
