The vineyard of Echezeaux Grand Cru is divided into 2 plots located for 80% in the climat 'Echezeaux Du-Dessus' planted in 1922 and 20% in the climat 'Quartiers de Nuits' planted in 1945.  Deep red colour with purple tints. Expressive and delicate nose dominated by mature fruit's aromas: cherries, plums. Foral notes of violet are enhanced by a spicy touch. The fruitiness is dazzling. Perfect balance between power and roundness. The finish is long with a bit of saltiness.
