One of the top-tier Montepulciano wines from Garofoli, this is made only in the best years. The harvest in the Piancarda vineyard must be of superior quality for the wine to take the higher classification of Cònero DOCG. Aged in partially new French oak barriques, it has a bright ruby red colour. It is intense, complex and full of ripe fruits. The taste is well-rounded and warm with smooth tannins and persistent energy.
