Produced from 100% Grands and Premiers Crus: Avize, Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Cramant for the Chardonnay; Verzenay, Vertus for the Pinot Noir. This has a bright copper hue with extremely fine bubbles. After long ageing in small vats on fine lees, this sees 8 years of ageing in the cellar. This extra-brut Champagne has all the finesse of Chardonnay combines with the structure and power of Pinot Noir. Notes of toasted spice, vanilla and a taut and crisp character, the long finish is underpinned with great complexity and lovely bitters.
