The Castello della Paneretta is located in the Chianti Classico area, on the western slopes of the hills overlooking Val d'Elsa towards San Gimignano. Ancient records date wine production here back to 1596. In 1984 the estate was purchased by Fabio Albisetti, who long since had a dream of producing wine in this region. The company produces solely Sangiovese and Canaiolo, which go into their traditional style Chianti Classico. The family is fully committed to producing quality wines with absolute adherence to the terroir.
