Since 1997, Premier Wine Group partners with a select group of California’s most prestigious wineries to develop and expand their international distribution. Their portfolio of over twenty wineries sees distribution in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, Continental Europe and Latin America. The combination of high quality winery partners and broad international distribution enables Premier to meet the growing global demand for premium California wines. One of their finest is 689 Cellars, which was founded in 2008 by Curtis McBride and winemaker Kent Rasmussen. After years of travelling together, they decided to use elements of Chinese numerology to express their ideals for a perfect winery. Six, eight and nine are considered both lucky and auspicious numbers, that, much like their wines, reflect seperate elements coming together as a balanced whole.
